Online Audio & Programming

As a Product Manager on the Digital Services team at NPR I was responsible for the definition, strategy and overall success of a series of online products with a focus on managing radio station program schedules and music playlists, audio encoding and online players, podcasting, and integration with broadcast automation systems.

Composer

During my 2 years at NPR I lead a team of 3 developers and 1 designer to create and launch Composer, a responsive web app for stations to manage their schedules and playlists. Built with an API that allows stations, and NPR apps to leverage schedule and playlist data to engage listeners.

Mobile audio results

In addition to my work on Composer, I launched an HTML5 audio player used on mobile station websites that trippled mobile streaming.
