Artist Relations

I joined Sonicbids as an Artist Relations Rep in 2005 when it was a small 12 person startup that had just been named a Fast 50 company thanks to its rocket ship growth. Over the next two years I helped thousands of users with customer service and tech support issues as the company continued to double in registered users, revenue, and headcount on an annual basis.
In 2007 I was promoted to Artist Relations Manager to lead the team of 8 Reps. In order to keep up with the needs of our rapidly growing user base I implemented a new customer support system which cut down incoming questions by 70% the following year.
To improve our churn rate I also created an algorithm which was able to predict if a band would renew their subscription based on their account activity.
Product Manager
July 2008 - Dec. 2011
I became Sonicbids’ first Product Manager in 2008. In 2010 over 80,000 gigs were booked using the tools I helped create for partners like MTV, Bonnaroo & SXSW.
